"A Shared Culture" is a short video by renowned filmmaker "Jesse Dylan". Dylan created "A Shared Culture" to help spread the word about the Creative Commons mission. In the video, some of the leading thinkers behind Creative Commons describe how the organization is helping "save the world from failed sharing" through free tools that enable creators to easily make their work available to the public for legal sharing and remix.

The "Interactive Subtitles: A Shared Culture" is an example of how to extend media types supported by NCL Applications through NCLua objects. In this example, an NCLua object acts as a SRT (SubRip Subtitle Format) player to "A Shared Culture" video. However, this application mainly aims to specify a unique interface to NCLua objects act as a player for new media types in NCL. Additionally, user is able to select dynamically the subtitle color and language (English or Portuguese).
