"Viva Mais" is one of the first brazilian TV shows produced with focus on viewer interaction. The TV program discusses several subjects concerning health and welfare and offers some opportunities for an active participation of the TV viewer.

The "Healthy Food" interactivity asks the TV viewer to choose among 4 different food options which one he/she prefers to eat. Once the dish is chosen, the TV viewer is informed about the quality of his/her choice, telling if there are missing nutrients or nutrients in excess.

A healthy diet is one that helps maintain or improve health. It is important for the prevention of many chronic health risks such as: obesity, heart disease, diabetes, and cancer. A healthy diet involves consuming appropriate amounts of all nutrients, and an adequate amount of water. Nutrients can be obtained from many different foods, so there are a wide variety of diets that may be considered healthy diets.

In this application, use the colored buttons to choose your favorite food option. The application is implemented in NCL.
